No, it was essential to the strong economy of the '90's, along with the advent of the Internet into commerce.

American companies went where cheap labor was abundant. An abundancy that did not exist in the less developed world from the 50's though the 80's.


Job Security - Health Benefits - Retirement Benefits - A Stable Life -
Good stander of living for every body The Fabric of Families - Education - Mental health - Divorce - Family time
Being able to leave your family a Inheritance

Those values and benefits pertained more widely when the tax system was more progressive and unions were more dominant.

Why aren't the absence of those contributory to todays stagnant wages and mounting deficit?
