Was going to a HUGE rural UMC where I lived. They brought in a liberal female Pastor . 2 years, the church was down to a hand full. 1st years was ok. Then she had to infuse her liberal theology.
I was on the Pastor Parish Relation Board at the time... I objected and was cornered by the Bishop's security and told. You don't want to be one of those churches. Few months later, I was no longer on the board for objecting.
Now I belong to a HUGE non denomination, that most of the Methodist fled to .
I had it explained to me once. That it was ...ok. Because, the interpreted word of God were corrupted through translation . That it was only a abomination to God only if you laid with children.
