Why would an investor buy on the open market when they can get discounted shares direct from the company? As long as they don't mind the shares being restricted for 6 months. So they must have a lot of confidence in their investment and in Seafarer.

It sure appears it has paid off well for them.

And where are your goal posts now? Taking shares instead of monetary payment for serving on the board doesn't count as buying shares.

Buying discounted shares via a private placement also doesn't count as buying shares.

Your current requirement is that board members and related parties must buy shares on the open market and that and only that qualifies as buying shares.

I disagree. I think it's a very good sign to see related parties, board members and others invest hundreds of thousands of dollars directly with the company. That's how a small penny stock company raises money to operate the company before they are able to generate revenues.

But apparently Kyle has plenty of money now because he is no longer taking private placement deals.
