Purely speculation but I have a feeling if there is no announcement delaying the div after hours I think we go over $1 tomorrow. Maybe not to close but there could be a crazy run early.
Doc, I appreciate all your insight and contributions to this board and as one of the biggest shareholders but as far as the insiders buying goes, other than a show of confidence or faith it would not make sense for an insider who waived dividends to purchase prior to ex div. It would only guarantee that they would be losing money near term. It’s that much more distance they have to make up just to get even. If I’m an insider and I want to prove my loyalty I’m buying ex div at the trimmed share price - and I think that’s fair.
