Civicbird, when you call the e-trade number, you get a recording with several options-one says transfer money-you simply say, transfer money. You will then get a rep. You must give her the routing number of your account (the numbers running across the bottom of your check), your bank and your checking account number. Thats all thats required. taxes have nothing to do with it-just tell the rep how much you want wired and deduct the $25-actually I had some wired a long time ago and it took just over an hour.
