School sanctioned prayer, not private prayer, went out of PUBLIC schools because it violated the separation of church from state.
Imagine a Muslim or Jewish majority school district demanding that their prayers be imposed on all students in the publics schools. Get it?
Send your kid to a sectarian school and they can be forced to pray to your heart's content
The pledge of allegiance remains. Paddling is the response of the weak and the bullying. Political correctness is mainly calling out assholes for behaving like assholes, particularly in the workplace.
And there are far fewer sucker punches of cops than 'bad shoots' by cops. The misapplication of deadly forces costs cities millions in civil suit settlements every year. Better selection, training and supervision is the answer.
