I read this on the website “Seeking Alpha”. This was one comment on the Rite Aid shares traded today.
There are a lot more stocks with far more shorts than this one. A lot of the shorts would have covered days ago wouldn’t they?
I wonder whether it is an entity buying the company. If you have 5 days to disclose if you are over 5% shareholding and this is the last of 5 days since the huge volume day an entity could have bought a huge percent of the company in these last 5 days and they would have to disclose by the end of today.

Somebody is buying and it’s a big fish not just retail investors and shorts, the volume is just too large to only be attributed to shorts covering
Guys, It reminds me of an old Herman’s Hermits song by the title of “Something tells me I’m into something good”.
