I tend to agree with your gut feeling. Doc spent 18 years at RAD with founder Alex Grass. During the 1980's Doc held a series of corporate positions in professional placement and professional relations at Rite Aid. He moved rapidly up the career ladder from assistant vice president to vice president, senior vice president, and executive vice president, placing him front and center of patient care, research, innovation, mergers, and acquisitions.
I believe that Doc's career has come full circle. I could be wrong and a JV would be huge as well but I do buy into the merger possibility. Could you imagine our PBM joining with Envision RX? That would mean major market share. Bringing Telehealth services to RAD where our pharmacists and medical doctors would be able to prescribe our products and services both prescription (eventually) and over the counter? The possibilities are endless. The generational wealth we would obtain would allow for us all to take care of everyone dear to us, start new charities or get involved with existing ones. We are right there guys. We are certainly blessed.
Have a great weekend all!
