Long acting from ViiV

Side effects...and when side effects appear , they also long acting !!!!!

—Very painful 2 injections , IM every month given by health professional.
Some patients dropped out from the study because of pain .
— all together about 3 % patients dropped because of side effects
— not for drug resistant patients
—Can produce drug resistance .
—depression and suicidal thoughts
—possibility of liver damage
—possibility of kidney damage
—interaction with very many other drugs
— not to use for younger than 12 years old
— contraindicated during pregnancy
--Black box warning with Hepatitis B and C !!!!!!


Now Leronlimab ,

—Cover resistant HIV
— don’t produce resistance
— once a week SC self injection
— not one serious side effect so far

I believe choice is not very difficult here
