Correction: that Bertolino webpage evidently is an old, archived one.
However as you point out, Bertolino is a dermatologist, and the current interests of IPIX are not in dermatology (at the moment) other than kind of peripherally -- the ABSSSI use for Brilacidin, which is not the current focus of development because the other uses are so much cheaper to get through clinical trials. So his expertise is not in the digestive-tract uses for Brilacidin.
