Respectfully I feel that combo will be the easy , if proper education to doctors and patients....
This is for a patients who will die without adding different then HAART medicine..
We have only 2 competitions for those patients..and IMO not very strong competition ...
--Maraviroc , daily tabl, , severe side effects , black box warning, and 45% efficacy..and resistance did happen, For MDR -2 and 3
not a candidate for PrEP.
And,
--Ibalizumab , once every 2 weeks IV infusion , with some side effects and efficacy of 43%..
only for MDR-3
Not a candidate for PrEP.
And now our Leronlimab !!!!
-- Leronlimab , once a week SC injection , self administer ( possibly in 1 or 2 years every month , ) ... so far not one serious side effect,
efficacy 81% with 350 mg , and so far no resistance.
For MDR -2 and 3.
Probably very good candidate for PrEP.
IMO as always..
