Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the contract has a lot of stipulations about how gross is calculated. Unfortunately, a private company, which Vyera is, Can say their cost to sell a product is as much or more than the selling price. this would result in no profit and no royalties. The expense reports from the sales staff can easily be inflated etc..
I will assume that no contract lawyer is so stupid to no know this and so i doubt this will be the situation. It will be interesting to see what reality looks like when this does hit the market. My biggest hope is that this deal solidifies the path for leronlimab and Gilead will have to react. A few months from now they will be asked in there quarterly earnings call by some analyst about leronlimab. They will need and answer as to how they let this slip by.
