‘‘Twas the night before impeachment
And all through house not a creature was stirring
Not even Trumps mouth.
The charges were set and ready to go
Hoping Pelosi would cut off Trumps noses.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds.
Hoping that Trump would be gone
When they raised their heads
When out at the White House
I heard such a clatter.
I jumped from my bed to see what’s the matter
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But Trump running fast to never be seen
We all laughed and we cheered
