This is an eminently logical and rational position, and I would expect exactly the same.

Which is PRECISELY why my opinion of management will sink so low today if there are no meaningful updates, because why have the call at all?

And to have a call, with nothing to offer, would demonstrate to me that management is irretrievably tone-deaf and oblivious.

And if management's judgment is so poor in judging/managing shareholder relations, what can you infer about judgment in other areas?
