If all brand name companies will implement quantum dot security ink in each unit of their products and if all consumers will buy only genuine "Made In America" products embedded with quantum dot security ink with the unique color signature, criminal counterfeiters will be out of business and brand name companies will recapture $1.8 trillion in lost global market shares.
Recapturing market share from counterfeiters
How much brand name manufacturers can recapture lost sales to counterfeiters depends on how serious they want to protect their IP, the authenticity of their products and the reputation of their brand name. By enforcing invisible QD ink in the labels of their products and by educating the public and buyers to verify the finger-print like color signature using simple hand held scanning device manufacturers can recapture significant percentage of the lost market which is in tens of billion dollars.
