Well, okay, in that case, probably. It was just to illustrate that time is valued differently. If you're 30 waiting for 5 years doesn't really make much of a difference. When you're 75 that's, what, something like 50% of your life expectancy?
If $10 a share does guarantee a very comfortable retirement I would go for that and not choose to wait 5 more years or so to wait for $50 and live in absolute luxury. Not even knowing if I'll get there, as the older you get the more you hear stories about people gone in weeks or months.
I was simply stating that because we value time differently being a supporter of a buy out is subjective.
