No wonder you are unhappy if you think it is just a 2:5 dividend. Here is how it shakes out:
Example:
5000 shares GNBT currently owned.
2000 new shares given of GNBT with 2:5 dividend
7000 total GNBT shares
plus
2000 shares of NGIO given
9000 total shares of both GNBT and NGIO
vs 1:1 dividend we would have 10000 shares. So a difference of only 1000 shares. BUT, in the short term NGIO could be worth much more than GNBT.
Example:
5000 shares GNBT currently owned.
2000 new shares given of GNBT with 2:5 dividend
7000 total GNBT shares

2000 shares of NGIO given
9000 total shares of both GNBT and NGIO
