Re: Jbz #9319
Should our assets be taken by a Canadian company without compensation, could a suit be litigated in Canada? Regardless, one would need to prepare a brief, complete account of facts and timelines. The initial inquiries seeking advice would require little effort with no cost - simply and briefly outline the complaint in writing, use online search to acquire a list of pertinent law firms, then phone or email the firms to get a response on whether or not, and how, to proceed with the complaint. These law firms want to hear the story...it is what they do. Having already prepared a brief, simply email the facts of the case should that be requested.

Frequently, an opinion on the viability of a potential suit would require very little or no up front money. A strong case, perhaps, would be taken on for a percentage.
