Some popular (or not so popular) TV anchors and how much they make from just reporting news:
Cooper: 12 Million / Year
Cuomo: 2.5 Million / Year
Burnett: 3 Million / Year
Blitzer: 5 Million / Year
Hasselbeck: 3 Million / Year
Kelly: 22 Million / Year

Must be pretty easy to make that much money since the salaries are already funded by the doners and not to mention the popularity due to clicks/advertisements/social media. I bet most of these people are paid what to say.
People need to start focusing on news that is facts. Not opinions. Not anything that is money related/funded. Live and/or candid sources speak truth well. Not like the pre-filtered/screened junk that is pushed so heavily today on our TVs, PCs, and newspapers.
I'm not saying this is a recent thing. This has definetly been going on since the computer age boom of the 2000's.
