I sent Paul Knopick my screed about management unprofessionalism and have had a very interesting round of exchanges with him. Herewith the summary: I have his permission to share.
1) The podcasts were a bad idea because people made deals seem as good as done when they weren't. We're still feeling the fallout of that bad idea.
2) Doug Gillen is GONE. (And yes, I see a link between 1 and 2.)
3) December is ALWAYS a crap month for stocks under $5.
4) My/our unhappiness has been shared with senior management. No commitments about what if anything will be done to fill our information vacuum.
Hopefully Michael et al. will take our unhappiness to heart and thread the needle with a factual update that is clear of forward-looking anything.
