Allstate has Drive Wise, Progressive has Snap Shot. I utilized both these devices, and while they monitor fast starts and stops, they do nothing for Distracted Driving.
Which insurance company will be willing to supply a dongle that both monitors driving habits, but also monitors (stops) Distracted Driving?
Imagine the advertising campaign. This is purely a safety issue, a dongle that can save lives.....and save the insurance company millions in damage and health claims.
Will it be Geico, or will it be a Midwest or Pacific insurance company?
The first company will plenty of free advertising, once picked up by the media!!
60 units have been tested for weeks. I doubt they sent them back.
I await a blockbuster PR soon.
