The deal after the NBA is the details part. A 12 year USA HIV deal has to be VERY complicated.
The non-binding agreement just says: we are interested and in principle agree to this and that (or, more explicitly 50 % royalties and XXX up-front payment, and so and so).
However , once one goes into the details (for example, how do we split PrEP, what happens with Combo with different drugs/companies that are working in USA but based somewhere else and so on) this gets complicated.
The results: deal or no deal. NP's interviews are just telling us the talking is on-going.
Hopefully there will be a deal.
