I was in ELTZ when they changed their name from Elite Books to Elite Group. They kept the same symbol. We all knew the change was coming. One day I logged in and instead of the stock symbol in my portfolio there was a numeric code there instead. Impossible to place a trade and I didn't have any orders in before it locked up. But it was two or three days before the code changed back into the ticker symbol and we could trade it again.

The weird thing is, when it was locked up for us retail traders, it must not have been locked for MMs because there was still volume. Go figure.
