Any knowledgeable financial advisor would recommend he sell a portion of a concentrated stock position and diversify, diversify, diversify. He'd be stupid not to, regardless of the price or the potential of the concentrated position. Plus, he doesn't have to file all those forms in the future. Its a prudent move.
