Analysis on the short position from another trader (Newdie999) in the new telegram Whale Team Room:

"Shorts still need to cover 20mil in ADSV.

Looks like they got caught off guard around .0045 after the big pause from the first run over 100% today.

It appeared EOD that CDEL was struggling to cover EOD in adsv.

You can see the sells CDEL used to try to hold this down in the 5s..

CDEL's wall got eaten alive.

It appeared CDEL was shorting more/digging a deeper hole to cover lower.

All the MMs moved to the bid in the 5s except CDEL. ASCM no longer protected CDEL either once we hit 5s.

We had 145million in total volume today

67million in buys (22 mil in short covers)

70million in sells (40million of that was shorted)

The total short volume being 62 million means less than half of today's

145 million total volume was short activity.

Shorts appear to be pinned as they have shorted more than they have covered..."
