Mundipharma continues their dominance in Pain Management
One of the major obstacles in Pain Management is the subjective nature of pain. Medical professionals have not had a 'Pain Meter' that gives a readout of how much pain a patient is experiencing.
Mundi pharma is working to correct this issue with 'Painfocus'.
Painfocus™ uses advanced machine learning to process multiple physiology biomarkers captured by a wearable device to provide indications of the presence and severity of a patient’s pain. This enables the app to capture, monitor and analyse patient generated data at home and to give doctors a baseline to work from and a way of measuring pain levels based on 22 vital signs correlated against patient’s subjective level of pain. Real time monitoring is delivered through a Everion® MD wearable biosensor that’s connected to the painfocus app using Bluetooth and then transmitted securely to a cloud-based server.
