It's absolutely amazing what a difference a day can make. Yesterday this place was a whirlwind of pugilistic activity of the most ferocious kind and today, nothing. In fact, things are so calm that it reminds me of that classic novel, "All Quiet on the Whack Job Front". What I think is going on is this, yesterday these old farts completely wore themselves to a frazzle and the mere thought of getting into another brawl is just too much for their old bones to bear. But I don't think there's much need to worry about them. After a day or two of rest and a double Geritol or two, maybe twelve, I'm sure everyone will be back in fighting trim and will charge to the middle of the ring when the bell sounds early tomorrow morning for the start of round one.
