This is Bad math - sorry - .01 x 5,000% = 0.50 cents

100% = double
If you have 1 apple and you increase by 100% i.e. you double to 2 apples
Following this is how percentages work:
1,000% = 10 x what we have, so 1 apple = 10 apples
5,000% = 50 x what we have, so 1 apple = 50 apples
.01 x 500,000% = $50
