I still cannot understand correctly, what NP says he wants to slow down.

I was thinking, and now just thinking out-load, that Patterson will stay on the BOD of this company, and potentially be the next NP, in future.

Now, I can see there is a slim option of BO, which could have triggered NP, indicating so.
