I use video conferencing everyday

A bunch of times a day

Years ago it sucked but Microsoft Skype, WebEx, GoToMeetings, Zoom have perfected it.

If anyone does remember the days before that, you'd get on a call and for the first 5-10 minutes someone or some people would have issues. You'd waste 20% of your call on that.

Still happens, but now most people know it's "that guy" that didn't plug in his headset vs. the technology.

It's "that guy" that didn't realize he was on mute

I mentioned in a previous post, I listen in on direct sales calls when I can or recordings to "get a pulse"

Beats getting DD from life long messageboard penny experts who use the exact same shtick on them all.

Video conferencing is huge in the business world and direct sales is no different

I could argue, they're leveraging way more on a continuous basis for communication, marketing and educating purposes

That is labor intensive, but they do it.

VERB app helps get that message out to more via saved recordings.

OK, back to the tech.

To pull that off live today was something else

We've all been there before where 100 things go wrong

"Hey I can't see you?"

"Hey, are you on mute?"

"Hey, what's a URL?"

"Hey, what's a browser?

"Hang on, I need to post on iWhatever.

Did Rory say we needed a computer or will it be beamed into my brain?"

I uses Microsoft Skype, WebEx, GoToMeetings, Zoom every week.

Skype, when I generate a call

The others when a supplier does

I know the features of each

Do you know why Zoom sp took off?

They have features the other guys don't.

For example the company hosting can put annotations on your screen like an arrow that says, click here.

Great for training.

You can't click on that arrow

You have to click where the arrow is pointing

Keep in mind, that is only when screen sharing which isn't even this use case

I haven't seen any clickable links

If you think about direct sales or other verticals that do conferencing, being able to put links on the screen like Rory showed

Is game changing

It is game changing

What happens today and I do this often

Hang on a second, I'll throw it in the chat box where half of you won't see it.

Now you can say

"Click right here" as Rory showed.

I think I posted the other day what was said on one MLM call

What another person that came on the call said...

"The more I see what this app can do for us..."

"The things I know that are coming in the future..."

Patent applied for

Something Microsoft, WebEx, GoToMeetings, Zoom would be interested in

Would be game changing for them if they don't have something like this

I know for sure Microsoft does not.

Patent on this would be priceless
