I'd say there's nothing materially new, but a couple of interesting tidbits. For example:
- NP has 100% seen the NASH animal data. Although he continues to say "it will be announced soon" and "if the data is as good as the last animal trials that got a $1b licensing deal", he has seen the data. I wouldn't be playing up the possibility of a licensing deal on NASH if I'd seen the data and it wasn't at least up to par.
- MM stepped down voluntarily to slow down and spend more time with his family, basically hand picked and trained the new guy. In praising MM, NP said something along the lines of "both he
need to slow down at some point and let the next person take over."
- Apparently there's some interest in the political world in Sacha's work on PreP. NP connected this to the White House's initiative to eradicate HIV, hoping to get in front of the right people soon, etc.
So again, nothing definitive and new. But there were nuggets, and I'm sure other folks on the line caught other nuggets that they'll share. You didn't miss must-see TV though.
