Like any other train wreck, you look, pause, ponder and move on and never look back- no SEC. You either dump or hold until you can "officially" write them off as "worthless" for accounting purposes, then you start off-setting gains with the losses. If you play this game long enough, it becomes kinda routine/just part of SOP every now and again.
