Those who are moving out are replaced with the STEM educated workers who can afford to live in and pay the real estate taxes for all of those condos you see when you venture out of the woods.
You don't need as many of those people so a net outflow of mostly retiree snowbirds has no negative impact on the DOCUMENTED GDP and prosperity that distinguish Blue State America from Red Stat 'Murica.
Somehow or other you missed all of that. It only takes critical thinking skills and the willingness to use them.
