"And the settlement amount for infringing on $SFOR "OOB/MFA" IP (not KE IP) was more than 9M! MSFT hasn't paid anything for KE IP that I've read to date."
I disagree. If you read what was in the SEC filing, MSFT licensed "the patents" - plural. And it clearly states which patents were in the action against MSFT - '599 and two additional patents '698 and '701. So MSFT licensed both OOB/MFA and KE IP. Not just OOB/MFA.
"a separate action against Microsoft Corporation based on its alleged infringement of the '599 Patent and two additional patents for out-of-band user authentication (U.S. Patent Nos.: 8,484,698 & 8,713,701)."
"the Company has licensed the patents to Microsoft Corporation"
