HISTORY
Dr. Dolezal comes highly recommended from the Sutter community and has practiced Hematology/Oncology in Berkeley for the past 8 years at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. In that role, she served as the Medical Director for the Cancer Clinical trials. She believes in personalized medicine with targeted cancer therapies. Prior to her work with Sutter, Dr. Dolezal was an Assistant Medical Director/Clinical Scientist in BioOncology Therapeutics at Genentech where she worked on late stage and early phase first in human clinical trials with targeted cancer therapies based on the science of cancer signaling pathways. She also worked at the Stanford School of Medicine in the breast cancer clinic while at Genentech as she has a special interest in women's malignancies.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Her outside interests include triathlons as a former sponsored competitive triathlete/Ironman finisher. She is an avid cyclist who also rode across the USA from L.A. to D.C. with Lance Armstrong and the first Tour of Hope team to raise awareness about cancer clinical trials. She is a mom with two kids who are fluent in Spanish and she speaks medical Spanish and Czech
