Yup, the deal is still in the works, this is encouraging as there has been some time since first announcement.
Either as you say, the ball is in our court, or there are some non-economical milestones that have to be achieved before the deal is signed.
However, in this time-frame the only thing I can think of are safety studies or completion of the 52 new patients FDA requested.
If the deal is not-contingent it seems negotiations are not turning around the numbers as he mentioned the still amazing 50% royalties.
