Apparently Joe is reading posts here. He just texted me. He has been in the hospital since Monday. He had a big operation to replace nerves on the left side of his face, and removed 18 plates and screws from the right side. He has had bone grafts and a litany of other work done to his face. He is in bad shape at the moment and can't talk. Both sides of his mouth are stitched up for healing.
