This etrade call in situation isn't necessarily because of a corporate action. In fact, it could be from corporate non-action.
As we all know, Doc filed form 15-12g that allows UNVC to remain legally dark. Since that filing, there has been no known action with the shell or the transfer agent, other than a corrected quarterly report in 2011.
The transfer agent doesn't know what UNVC is doing with the shell or the business, nor does etrade. They are a non-filer. Nobody knows what they are doing until something is filed or the t/a information is brought up to date. We all know what Doc has told us, but that doesn't automatically update anything with the t/a or etrade.
It could be a precautionary measure being taken by etrade, perhaps initiated by the t/a, due to the absence of updated information. We obviously have a t/a and everything is working fine, but maybe there's a point in time where a non-filer is treated with more caution.
Maybe it is a corporate action,I hope. But I like to look at these kinds of things with a rational mind and consider all possibilities.
