Very Very Very Interesting Redspeed....
On October 3, 2019 Verb had a nice spike in volume 245,900. The share price shot up briefly, and was "sold" back down immediately. As Form 4's were being discussed, I naturally assumed it was insider buying starting to take place. But, we never got a Form 4 for it, and we then got a Form 4 for Rory's first purchase, and it was not 250k shares.
Now we know who was behind that volume...Vanguard. And they bought it in 2 or 3 big tranches throughout the day. I would have to think it makes some a bit nervous knowing a fund can come in and throw $225,000 at a stock like they were throwing birdseed. Wonder what other funds will do this.
Also, it is one heck of a consolation prize (if it was not insider buying) to have it be Vanguard buying the stock. It is almost better, if you really think about it.
