Sorry for the delay - I called Nasdaq listing center and Donohoe early this morning but could not reach anyone.
I just got to talk to someone at NASDAQ listing, 301-978-8008. The person did not want to be quoted but the answer is generally speaking, NASDAQ tends to apply the way the rules are written, and there is no difference between relisting and initial listing. The person could not comment on exceptions and/or anything specific to GNBT.
I also just got to talk to someone at Donohoe, the person said that he was not in the position to comment exceptions, and told me to ask NASDAQ. I asked if he could tell me if he has seen exceptions made in the past and he said he was not in the position to answer that question either.
IMHO, as we wait to see if an exception will be made, it might be best for GNBT to come up with some ways to move up the PPS significantly. If the clock needs to be reset, at least let's hope the PPS is at $3 or $4, so we can be uplisted quickly and move on to bigger and better things.
