Yes. Or there was another ask that isn’t showing on level 2. For ex. I think TC was saying a while back that you might see 109 shares at a price say 2.01. When those shares are purchased the same MM may have additional asks at the same price that only pop up once the original ask is taken. Also I believe Stop Limit orders do not show on level 2 until the price is reached.
