Here is a crucial reminder of why Brilacidin is going to be so important for UP and other diseases:
This is absolute proof positive that it works.
Compare that to Salix's steroid drug, which had some efficacy, but not the kind of numbers that Brilacidin had. And, of course, prolonged steroid use can result in all kinds of complications, cardiac, vision, the characteristic "moon face," etc. Brilacidin is not absorbed systemically and was used only for a short time, so the chance of side effects is slim to zero.
