Ouch....respect the crane.
I was witness to a death on a jobsite once. I saw a guy get smashed by a large trash bin. It came off of the forklift that was carrying it and the guy was right underneath it. It smashed him. You could hear bones breaking as it was on the way down. That's something that you don't forget. I was standing about 20 yards away. Absolutely nothing I could do.
I saw the whole thing. Had to give a statement to the cops and all.
There was no horse play, just a straight up accident.
