So you replied on my post on YMB that you wouldn't be surprised to see a buyout in the $20 range. My thinking has been that the NOL would protect us from that sort of thing for longer than that, as it would disappear if GNBT gets bought... keeping us in acquisition mode longer. I suppose Big Pharm/Bio would consider that a "small" loss if they really want something GNBT has.
I'm sure you've all, like myself, been thru multiple companies where you really thought you could make a fortune, only to have a buyer come in. Sometimes it's a decent quick buck, but it never turns out to be "life-changing". My latest was SODA. I made a pretty nice chunk of $, but PEP came in and bought at what I thought was a criminal premium, as SODA was just starting to bring in the profits.
Not that I'd scoff at $20! But I think there could be a lot more here in the next 5 years...
