Yeah, I’ve thought about that myself. The FDA also back before cydy took over wanted them to go through unmet need first, which they don’t require for many others. Maybe it was when pro 140 was an IV drug. Makes total sense that an IV drug would be used as last resort, and go through unmet need first. But once it switched to sq, the fda should have dropped that requirement. Once weekly self-dosing is superior to daily pulls imo, especially when pills is the only option and many people on art develop pill fatigue, missing doses, etc, leading to resistance.
