The part about not getting in trouble has fully left the building wow. Deep state, shallow state matters not any longer for Trump. He is neck deep in extortion, abuse of power, not to mention and article for fitness to serve (which he is not). Trump in his deep and cavernous narcissism will not accept an impeachment, whether exonerated in the Senate or not.
He will take down enemy or ally, throw friend or foe under the bus to cover for his criminality and go down as any other criminal does. His brand is ruined. The ironic and enjoyable part will be to see him spend his later years in prison after the SDNY indicts and convicts him for money laundering, tax evasion and fraud.
