I think rj is pointing out that the FDA probably would not approve a clinical trial with such a close population, for want of a better description. The FDA would want participants from broader geographic locations. However, I wonder if the population is heavily oriented toward vets, if the VA would be interested in clinical trials. I am assuming that these are primarily older veterans who relocated to Arizona from all over the US.
