It might, but I think the only thing that will legitimize Seafarer is finding treasure (ideally with a functioning SeaSearcher) or, at the very least, getting a substantial deal with the government.

But the show is an hour long. If the whole show focuses on Seafarer, it should prove interesting and give us an idea of what is going on behind the scenes. Not unlike the recent Stock Day Media interviews but with visuals and possibly more people.

I have no expectations that it will boost the stock price.

It's pretty obvious they haven't found any treasure yet so that won't be a part of the show but I'm still looking forward to it. If it is able to "legitimize" what is going on behind the scenes and we are able to learn more about some of the technology and that process, it should give shareholders some confidence in their investment.
