One of the reasons I have started buying into a position over time but then trade along the way too. If I take some profits along the way, I tend to be more patient. Usually, I buy too early and sell too early. Best to have 2-3 accounts to do it right though, especially if you are shorting at all as you can't do that in the same account.

Before anyone asks I have not shorted GNBT although there have been several glaringly obvious opportunites.

Also interestingly, the SEC doesn't like it when you buy and sell to yourself from different accounts. They think you are manipulating the market, Don't ask me how I know this. It was an accident...I swear.
