It was a general discussion on dividends based on stock vs cash dividends and how dividends were handled when stock was used instead.
When I looked up different sites they were all pretty much the same, when stock was used, percentages were used. So, it didn’t see it necessarily as a slash in the stock price being cut in half but just a percentage based on what the company wanted to provide.
